The little church group is about to broadcast when they find the angel for their pageant is missing. The director rushes off to find a substitute and the broadcast begins. Bystanders are asked what Christmas means to them. To one, it means gifts; to another, a big dinner; to another, fun. It is time for the angel to say her lines—and an angel does step forward! She says Christmas has all those elements but, above all, it is Jesus' birthday. The nativity pageant is presented and the director returns—unable to find a substitute angel! One ext. set.
